Indonesia joined P4G as a partner country in September 2019.

Indonesia has used the Sustainable Development Goals as a benchmark for all levels of government, from the highest national level to the subnational level. The Indonesia National Development Planning Agency highlights the SDGs of strong institutions, partnerships, climate action, decent work and economic growth, and quality education to achieve the greater goal of reduced inequalities. P4G recently completed a mission trip to Indonesia in August 2019 where they engaged with many stakeholders and created a strong foundation for the new National Platform.

“Consequently, the SDGs have been mainstreamed into the national development agenda and the Indonesia's Vision 2045. Nevertheless, Indonesia believes that the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals will not be achieved without multilateral cooperation.”

Dr. Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning, P4G Board Member
