Ambassador and Deputy Minister for Climate Change, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea

Keeyong Chung is the Ambassador and Deputy Minister for Climate Change at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Korea. 

A career diplomat, Ambassador Chung has represented the Republic of Korea’s interests across a wide range of issues. Most recently he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Morrocco. Ambassador Chung has also served as the Director of Governance at the Global Green Growth Institute. 

He has represented the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria, Japan and the United States. Ambassador Chung holds an LL.B. from Seoul National University College of Law and a J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School.
