Friday, December 1, 2023: 8-9:30am (in-person only) Transforming Economies through Green Business Models and Partnerships for Climate Entrepreneurship in Developing Countries will highlight the significance of market-based solutions and multistakeholder engagement for the green transition. The P4G Kenya National Platform will host this event and speakers will discuss the role of policy and enabling framework to advance green solutions.
Saturday, December 2: 2 - 3 pm (in-person only) The Climate Entrepreneurs’ Journey to Investment will focus on delivering climate finance to low- and middle-income countries through locally-led businesses. It will highlight an early-stage climate business, delve into the challenges entrepreneurs face, and share examples of successful multi-stakeholder collaborations that have helped businesses become investment-ready.
Monday, December 4: 11 am - 12 pm (in person and livestream) Successful Policy Frameworks for Climate Businesses will highlight successful strategies that have improved in-country policy frameworks and mitigated investment risks to attract private sector investment for climate entrepreneurs.
