Andres Angel is the Senior Engagement Manager of P4G, Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030, an initiative to support innovative public-private partnerships that advance the new economy. In this capacity, Andres is responsible for P4G’s Global Hub engagement and fundraising strategies with public, private, and non-for-profit stakeholders in partner countries and organizations.
Prior to joining P4G, Andres was the Co-Founder & Director of Public Affairs at Pacifico Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in sustainability. In this role he helped private sector clients align their core business objectives with social and environmental targets of emerging economies and developing countries to create shared value.
Having worked previously in the public and private sectors in South and North America, Asia, and Africa, Andres brings a breadth of experience to P4G. In his most recent work in government, Andres served as Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Colombia, being responsible for the strategic direction, vision, work program, funding strategy, and engagement of the country’s most ambitious post-conflict reconstruction program. As a board member in international charities and foundations, Andres brings a strategic vision for the development of partnerships and fundraising capabilities for P4G.
Andres holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from Claremont McKenna College and a Masters in Policy Leadership from Georgetown University.
Andres is based in Bogota, Colombia. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, taking advantage of the country’s natural richness and diversity.
